Founded in 1981, Dhulikhel Mountain Resort pioneered the
mountain resort concept in Nepal and today attracts discerning

From October through March the soaring peaks of the northeastern
Himalaya are almost always visible from the Resort's unique
vantage point. Mountain views are less reliable from May through
September, but the monsoon countryside is a visual delight-lush
green rice paddies, emerald forest and a rainbow of wild flowers
contrast with the region's red clay earth.
The Himalaya forms a dramatic backdrop to the Resort's buildings
and bungalows, constructed of red brick with thatched roofs in
traditional local style that blend harmoniously with the area's
natural beauty. The Resort is situated on twenty acres of land,
and its serene atmosphere is enhanced by beautiful garden, the
sound of birds chirping and the captivating country landscape.
