What is trekking?
Trekking is a journey led on foot mostly, but in some cases, we
drive too. Trekking includes the exploration of hamlets, culture
of the people, sightseeing, crossing snowy passes, climbing
hills and climbing mountains up to 5500 meters.

Mountainous regions and Hilly areas of Nepal.
Suitable time to visit
Trekking is attempted mostly during spring and autumn season.
Some of the areas like Upper Mustang and Dolpa can be visited
even in summer season.
Required items
Warm jackets, trekking boots, sleeping bag, warm caps and other
day-to-day personal items. Except trekking fine boots and
personal items, others can also be available in rent here.
Lodging and Fooding
Hygienic food, clean ionized drinking water and private cozy
rooms with modern toilets and solar showers are available these
days on the way to Annapurna, Langtang and Everest region mostly
famous areas for trekking. Nevertheless, in other areas, the
only thing is camping. In such case, our cooks prepare meals as
per your requirement and our guides handle all the procedures
best suited for your optimum satisfaction.
Prospective trekkers
Trekking is either for short distance and or for long distance.
Those who enjoy walking on foot and get far better experience of
mountainous view, hamlets, and green hills can attempt it. The
short trekking is comparatively easier than the long trekking.
However, for long trekking, the trekker should have proper
physical fitness. So much so, the trekker has options to choose
the areas that best suit him.

Expedition is a great challenge. It is fighting against the
tallest and bold snowy peaks ever found in the world. Expedition
includes the real mountain climbing experience.

All the snowy peaks of Nepal Himalayas.
Suitable time to visit
Expedition should be attempted only during spring and autumn
season. It remains cloudy and gets snow storm in other seasons.
Required items
Mountaineering gears, warm jackets, trekking boots, sleeping
bag, warm caps, and other day-to-day personal items. Except
mountaineering fine boots and personal items, others can also be
available in rent here.
Lodging and Fooding
Mostly in the mountaineering, camping is only the best way.

up to the base camp these days on the way to Annapurna, Langtang
and Everest region. Nevertheless, in other areas, the only thing
is camping. In such case, our high altitude Sherpas carry the

procedures best suited for your optimum satisfaction.
Prospective mountaineers
Expedition is your lifetime challenge to face. It is not for the
people who do not have mountaineering background and the
experience of mountain climbing. The mountaineer should have
sound health, physically fit and confidence.
Altitude sickness and measures
The frequently seen problem is altitude sickness while trekking
and mountaineering. It is also known as Acute Mountain Sickness.
This problem arises while climbing high elevation over
3000meters. Short breathing and feeling light headed generally
happens in high altitude. However, the symptoms of altitude
sickness are dizziness, unappetizing, feeling of tiredness,
restlessness and others but when it causes nausea, it becomes
risky. The best measure to avoid it is to descend a short
distance as soon as one is noticed of altitude sickness
symptoms.
Emergency management
Mountain climbing and trekking is a challenge and the job that
involves risk. Therefore, the Unique Adventure International has
trained guides for any mishap. Our trained guides provide first
aid and other emergency measures required. In many famous
regions, health posts, foreign doctors and necessary personnel
have been managed. All the expenses incurred will be borne by
the Unique Adventure International on the way and the expenses
will be later recovered by your insured policy obtained before
climbing under booking condition set forth by the company. |
